Play nice!!! π
But it does fit now doesn’t it? π―
I need a bigger house! πOf course it fits! And don’t get me started on the space problem… π

Yeah!! How about anything that money will allow at the time!!
June 18, 2008 at 6:31 pm #712020I voted “combination of the above”, but perhaps a more honest answer would have been “whatever calls out to me”. The trouble is, that seems to change with time! π Sometimes I’m on a color jag, and have to have whatever I can find in a given color. (That is a very dangerous phase to be in.) Other times it’s a certain sculpt, like the OW or the Fledgie. And sometimes it’s just a piece that looks really fabulous . . . although if it’s on eBay, then it also has to stay within my price range. π
June 19, 2008 at 10:09 pm #712021I’m glad I have not actually seen every dragon, because I end up falling in love with all of them. I started out trying to get just the Oriental Sun Dragons, and the limited productions, thereof, and then I started getting limited production colors of other dragons, and now all I want to do is get every color of them too. I love my red fire special paint mother dragon with her orange eyes–I can’t stop staring at her, and she seems to glare up at me like, “what are you looking at?–I’m trying to sleep here!” And then you can get lost forever staring into the eyes of the dragons that have the dichroic eyes that change colors with the light.
June 28, 2008 at 4:06 am #712022For me it’s a combination of the above.
I collect by color and critter, so in a way I collect by family. I want ’em to look semi-coordinated and be happy hanging out together. π So far it’s worked very nicely for me.

I work in San Ramon and have been here for a long time
AND welcomeJune 28, 2008 at 9:15 pm #712024Dragon Master wrote:Yeah!! How about anything that money will allow at the time!!
Yeah, well, I get my bills paid, put food on the table, and spend what’s left on either clothes for my son, paint or a new Windstone, and as a single mom I really don’t think I do too bad π …But there are times I buy other things I collect…Books, antiques, etc. Whatever I want is what I buy. Currently, I am at as much a standstill as Windstone itself. Hence, I am glad I stocked up on blanks, and they aren’t open for selling anything I currently can’t go without. 8) Oh, yeah, and I know I can’t afford what’s on ebay so I don’t bother to bid. And, it really doesn’t bother me. π
Oh yeah, and 9 out of 10 times, if there is something Glen wants he gets it before I get what’s left over to spend. πJune 29, 2008 at 12:51 am #712025@ Dragon Master,
Kind of between Martinez and Lafayette near Briones Resevoir. Nice little area. Thanks. π
Oh, forgot to say, I also collect by species a bit. Hoofed critters and dragons mostly.

Yay another hoofer fan! We’re a little out numbered since there are so many more colors and poses of the dragons for people to fall in love with.

You don’t complain about your wife’s collection?
I so need to give you my husband’s number! π LOL…

Well, as much as I enjoy dragons, equine necks are far more convenient to hug than dragon ankles. π
