I think at its peak my collection was worth about $15k. Now it’s worth about $11k, I think.
In the mean time I’ve got $35k worth of motorcycles in the garage, though. Goes to show…October 28, 2009 at 6:30 am #787352After adding up purchases in just 2003, 2008 and 2009…I am at $10k, little more. I have one issue…If it’s OOAK, and given to you by the Creator herself, how do you measure it’s worth beyond the “Priceless” category? 😮 😕 I also bought a lot in 2007(And haven’t added it yet, but it had my old Green Emp in it, and my BEP OW)…I know I spent alot in 2007…2004, 2005, and 2006 were slower years. And some of those years way way back there were…DEAD. *sigh* (Makes you wish you had a time machine to go back and stock up on some pieces you know are popular just so you could have them to trade for the ones you can’t afford now! 😆 And maybe so you could get some of the ones you are spending all your time searching for that are retired! 😉 )
October 28, 2009 at 6:35 am #787353I didn’t put a price tag on the OOAK gifts from the Creator herself. They’re irreplaceable, and I won’t ever, ever sell them, so for me they don’t belong in the calculation of worth.
October 28, 2009 at 2:33 pm #787354😀 You guys are too much 😀
With my ALOW,I am at about$3500.00,still a baby but not bad for less than one year of serious collecting.Every act matters. No matter how small💞

As much as I feel the same way, the insurance company needed a figure. So… I made one up based on eBay auctions of similar items.
Windstone collector in remission. 😉
October 29, 2009 at 6:10 am #787356That, of course, changes matters… Mine aren’t insured specially, so I haven’t bothered to value them.

Wow… kinda put things in perspective for me. 😆
I used to have over $10,000 worth, but I have sold quite a bit and will sell more just for lack of space!!!
