Heya peeps! I’m home ’til Thurs then head back to Utah to get stitches out – but I’m already hating life… *i know, i know, quitcher bellyachin’* Surgeon thinks he got all the cyst, the titanium plate and the screws – So I’m back to being just a ditzoid of a blonde – can’t even use the ‘i’ve got a screw loose’ excuse – rats! I did get to keep the plate and screws, though. Only trouble is, i’ve no tools for fabricating it properly…

With the amounts of meds i’m taking, i’m not much of a conversationalist, so I’ll just grin at y’all from time to time… Want to know what I’m on? email if you do – don’t want to corrupt pristine young minds 😈 Needless to say I’ve got close to half the pharmacy here at home…

Thanks for all the goodly wishes! We’ve soooooooooooooo appreciated them! 😀

Here’s the list:

demerol for pain
Cymbalta pain
promethazine valium so i won’t remove the cast with a hacksaw
meperidine pain
naproxen pain
lortab pain
lorcet pain
keflex antibotic to head off post surgical infection

Hopefully the stitches come out on Fri. and everything stays ‘put’. Still need to be off the dumb foot for three weeks of so

That list is about as good as the one Tami had when she was waiting for surgery. Ironically, the day after she stopped them all.

I had a hard time keeping track of what was what, and when she could take them. If it was up to her she would have taken them every 15 minutes.

It’s not so much that I don’t feel the pain as it is that I forget about it as soon as it registers… 😕
