Roddy’s surgery yesterday in Utah, went very well. We’re just now home; what usually is a 3 hour drive took most of the day. Rod insisted on coming home so he could recuperate in his own bed. I don’t blame him for that, but it did make for a long trip… Need to start laundry and finish unpacking but that all may have to wait until tomorrow! Thanks, guys, for being such a great “family” and just letting me vent. Love y’all!

Thankies muchly guys! Roddy goes back to the surgeon tomorrow for a progress report. I’m amazed at the advances that have been made for this type of surgery (sinus). Used to be they packed your head full of guaze for a week or so – it was terribly uncomfortable. Now they use an antibiotic gel that dissolves as the surgical site heals. Roddy was able to breathe through his nose while he was still in the recovery room!
