One layer at the time until I have it right which is usually 3.I use about the same amount of each color scattered about unless you want one particular color to stand out.Don’t know what I can say to help but beauty is in the eyes of the beholder.I think your work is beautiful and I am sure others would like it even though you aren’t too sure of it yourself.Post pics and get opinions if that would help. I am always open to other’s opinions of my work and their input.Which by the way,you are correct,it is more stained glass than mosaic. 😉

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.Thanks Ela! 🙂 This side is almost finished.Doing the gold trim and tweeking it.It shows different w/flash due to color-shifting green/burnished red body and some of the neck and leg cover scales.Camera just can’t get it right.It is an unsual OOAK paint job to say the least. 🙂
Bottom 2 were earlier takes.It has much more coloring.I will try to capture some of it in the next pics.It is available if anyone is interested.
