I’ve been poking around this site for ages and figured it was finally time to post something in the forum. I also wanted to join so I could enter raffles! 😉 I might not be able to keep up very well with the forum but will try to check back every now and then.
I’ve been collecting Windstones since about 2001. I don’t have a very big or impressive collection since I didn’t have much disposable income over most of the years I collected. Every once in a while I just buy one of the pieces that I happen to really like, or if I find a good deal on something I’ll pick it up too. My first Windstone was the male gryphon in black that I got for a huge discount at a store closing.
Windstones are the only figurines I’ve continued collecting as I’ve gotten older, even as I lost interest in other things like model horses. They’re so beautifully sculpted and of such high quality; they really do look like they belong in a museum! I love how heavy and solid they are too.
I hope to meet some interesting people here and see what new things I can learn. 🙂
