😀
I just joined the forum following a near two week stay at Windstone headquarters training for a mold making position.
So after seeing all the pretty shinies all over the warehouse, I decided it was about time to check out the Windstone forum site and see what the it was all about…so um..yeah I’m doing that.May 1, 2008 at 4:50 am #495263May 1, 2008 at 4:57 am #695050I applied for that job too! May 1, 2008 at 5:26 pm #695061May 2, 2008 at 2:38 am #695062Geez, I leave a post, go to bed, go to work, come home and Wam! tons of replies to a simple hi. lol
I guess the forum is just as active as Melody said it was.
Ok so to respond to a couple posts, my name is taken from a Garbage song and is more an ironic bit of sarcasm concerning my actual intellect. It drives my mom nuts, though, despite explanation.
And about me? I’m pretty dull actually. I’m an artist who need to get in gear and make a portfolio and perhaps one day a website. I do a bit of everything (painting, sculpting, bronze/glass casting, etc..).
I ran into Windstone on craigslist when I wasn’t even looking for a job; I was just finishing up my degree and was taking a term off before tackling the next one. It was all very random and organized all at once: My boyfriend and I were moving to Alsea (near Corvallis), we found house in the country, and he was looking for work, but clicked on the art section at my request. A one and a half hour long interview starting at their new warehouse and ending at a coffee shot later we had a pretty good feel for each other.
So now I’m in LA living at their house and training with Benz (who is just awesome in so many ways).Oh and thanks for the amazing welcome!! 🙂 ^__^/
