Godiva chocolates are very good, but a bar costs $2.50 most places (or more).

You have to get on a wait list and everything. Edit: here is the story… http://www.usatoday.com/travel/destinations/2007-08-27-spains-expensive-ham_N.htm?csp=34
😯
I could not even imagine spending that much for ham.Oh and I would like to add that I do not like dark chocolate.

September 18, 2007 at 6:42 pm #616193You can have mine too. I find dark chocolate just too bitter for me…

September 18, 2007 at 7:07 pm #616196Oh yeah, Droste is very good. But I can find Lindt at Borders and Barnes and Nobel. Thus feeding two addictions at once…books and chocolate.
September 18, 2007 at 7:27 pm #616197HaHa!!! That’s a great idea!!! 😀

and coffee! 😀 I love Barnes & Nobel… (and we prefer them to Borders because they have better coffee & they have a train table, which is a big hit w/ the 3 yr old)
Dark chocolate…..ummmmmm…. 2 less people to fight for it 🙂
September 19, 2007 at 12:55 am #616199My favorite coffee place is Barnies, but they closed it and put Star Bucks in, instead. I like Star Bucks too, but I really loved Barnies… 🙂

Duly noted. What about white?
September 19, 2007 at 6:16 am #616201Dark chocolate is too bitter for me and white is too waxy. And white chocolate is a misnomer since it doesn’t even have cocoa in it…

And the bars are so small, too! I personally do not find them worth the price. I would be happier with a king size Hershey and a good romance novel.

You’re eating the wrong dark chocolate then, maybe. The higher the cocoa content, the more bitter it is (at least I think so, being almost 2am & not really remembering the reason why I don’t usually like those ones while hubby does). Try Dove’s dark. It’s yummy and not bitter. Dove and Hershey’s Special Dark is good to me. Others are questionable until I’ve tried it. And if you get a good white chocolate, it does have cocoa content (in the way of cocoa butter). But lots of kinds don’t even have that, so they’re awful. You have to check the label.
And OMG, if you can find the Endangered Species Chocolate in your area, try the Panda bar. Dark and white mixed together. It’s wonderful. (now if only the stores around here would have the Polar Bear bars…) I’m sooo ready for a free day in my diet.September 19, 2007 at 6:58 am #616204Maebnus3 wrote:Jasmine wrote:Dark chocolate is too bitter for me and white is too waxy. I’ll try the Hershey’s…if I spit it out, I’m blaming you 😛
