I have sooo much to do and organize before then. 🙄 Moving with Michel is no easy feat!
Oh and also I need to postpone the hospital bed since I don’t think it will fit (won’t go in the door) 😮one more thing: Her house that will be built isn’t even started yet so just hope that everything goes well and that it gets finished on time and noting bad happens to cancel the project :shout:
Not to be negative but we all know that LIFE can happenIf you have some time before you have to get a car, you might want to look into govt auctions. Since you aren’t looking for anything flashy, you can sometimes get a really good deal. The best way to do it is get pre-approved for a car loan or save the money up front. Credit unions are great for car loans like that if you can’t save it all up first. The down side is that you might not find the car you want the first try, so to get a really good deal you have to have some time and be patient. Just a thought.

~ a car and I looked for a Ford Escort stationwagon around 1999 and 2003 and they average around $3000 to 6000.
~ pay for the addaptation for the house Around $3000 maybe more if I need a contrator to do it.
~ pay for Bell phone
~ Pay two months rent in advance like in June
~ extras like curtains since she wants it private and so do I.
~ etc…So yes Sept Oct will come way to fast but at the same time not fast enough 🙄

But the thing is that the present car needs so many repairs and the rad is also leaking bad plus our roads are bad so the ball joint and other pieces need to be changed again. The muffler is going. So many repairs but bf wont fix it and he wont let anyone else fix it either….put it this way…I need a car before this one dies on me. I keep on putting prsetone in it but the whole is getting larger and one day I’ll try to get home from work and I won’t make it. 🙄

What would happen if you just got the car fixed without “permission” and didn’t tell him? Is it your car or his? If it’s yours, then he really doesn’t get to vote, does he? Why let him put you in any more danger than he already has? On another note, car auctions are really big here, especially now with the economy so bad, and the gas prices so high, people are either walking or biking, trading in their cars for better mileage and “green” cars, or giving up their cars and carpooling, riding buses, etc. So there are a lot more cars on the market because often people can’t afford to drive them! So you might want to look into that option. I bought my last 3 cars from private owners and got very good reliable cars. Craigslist is another option. You can take it to a mechanic and have it checked out before you buy it and take a mechanically minded friend with you. Anyway I’m so glad you are going to be safe!!!! 😀 I know it’s going to be hard to contain your excitement and your plans without his catching on, but I hope he will be as dense as he has been so far and won’t get alarmed until you are out of there!!! Just an update…the car I was interested in turns out need a transmission and he wouldn’t lower the price.
I’ll have to pay for the addaptation for sure since the lady doesn’t want any changes for the door frames…it’s not like she would have to pay or anything…but I can’t change her mind.
It will need a ramp of 36 feet give or take. You see for each inch high it’s one foot long of ramp. That’s going to be costly! Not to mention the labour and the guy to install the lift in the bathroom and bedroom.
OUCH!! I just hope I’ll have enough money now to do it all. 🙄
The ramp we have here is only 16 feet and it cost over $2000 to make!
That is crazy!So I’ll keep looking for a car and try to make more money if my body permits it since I now have “tenis” elbow and my back is just killing me! Grrrrrr…growing old is not a piece of cake! 😡 🙂 oh well!

it’s been a while so I thought to update you on the events.
The car I was gong to get turned out to be a piece of junk. But I’m getting a 2003 Pontiac Vibe! The wheelchair fits! I can’t beleive it!
My dad was going to buy a newer car next year but after going to see how much the dealerships would give him for the car he decided to let me have it instaid! All I have to pay for it is the tax on the value and the safety check….so in all it should be less than $1000. I told him that I wanted to make payments for the car but my dad refused and told me to just pay the tax and safety. 😮
The lady moved into the place I’m going and will start to build on the 15th.
I went to mesure the rooms in the other place and I was right the door ways are only 30 inches when it requires 34 minimum. I’ll try to talk the lady into agreeing for me to put 34 inches instaid.I’ll let you know more as it progresses. 🙂
