πŸ˜€ Thanks every one! I’ve been high all day just to much good stuff happening in a short time:

#1 The possibility of getting that appartment

#2 My canaries finaly had an hatcher last night! He’s all fuzzy (white) I’ll post a pic later

#3 And I got a letter from the camp where Michel went last summer and they are not closing for this year like they were supposed to do, so he might go again this year!

Ok here are more details about the place:
        (IF I GET IT)
It’s a two bedroom appartment but the second bedroom is very tiny, so if my bed fits in there I’ll take it. Michel would take the large bedroom since he has equiptment.
So I guess my GYM will stay at my friends house because there wont be room there.
The owner told me that she has lots of animals…so my cats are welcome (no I didn’t tell her about the birds yet)
She told me that there will be HORSES in the backyard! HORSES! YAY FOR ME!
She has a goat that goes all ever the place outside and cats, dogs….well it’s a tiny farm.
It’s 550.00 heated and lighted and if I want to share the cost of TV satellite and internet that would be more….so I’m going to verify about that. Because I really want to stay in touch with all of yous on the forum. πŸ™‚ But that also means buying a computer πŸ™
I got so much to get before I move!
Car, fridge, stove, computer and the expence for moving including hirering some guys for the big furniture…don’t have anyone to help me move. πŸ™ But I can do all the boxes myself. πŸ˜€
I will have to forget my long distance plan so sorry Beckie, Shawna and specialy you Laurie. πŸ™
But then again maybe I’ll be able to get another job to make up for it.

I’m going to see it saturday so I’ll know more then.

I had a meeting with my social worker today and told him the news…he suggest not telling the BF until I’m out of there because he could turn violent or abusif. I don’t know what to do…part of me want’s to warn him but another is afraid to do so… πŸ˜• And if I do it would be about one week from me leaving. Or one month.. πŸ˜•

Oh I just want this soooooo bad! New life, positive life! I’ll be a changed person! Back to my old self! 😳
Thanks all for your wishes I really need them. πŸ˜€

Oh, I hope this works out for you! I can check with Warp10 for a cheap computer, if you want. And I wish I lived closer so we could help with the heavy stuff.

As for the long distance plan… I’m on Vonage and its 20$ per month for 300 or 500 minutes – that’s both local and long distance (but you have to have a computer + Internet). Anyway, that could be a solution. And I can call you anytime if you need to talk!!!

            Woohoo!

Read my books! Volume 1 and 2 of A Dragon Medley are available now.

πŸ™‚ I don’t know about the computer since I might try to get this one…after all he has two in the house and this one I’m on is antique…and after all the money I lent him and what I put in the house and landscaping it’s the least he can do.
My internet plan is with Distributel and is unlimited calls anywhere anytime through US and Canada for $17 something a month plus tax, that’s it!. So its very low but I’ll be very tight for a long time.

Don’t worry about the long distance calling… it’ll all work out the way it’s supposed to; and you’re supposed to get away from that 😑 😑 😑 of a boyfriend!! I so wish I could come help you move. It makes me bite my nails worrying that you won’t have enough help! I don’t want you hurting your back…

Suggestion: If you have a college nearby, you can call the student employment office and post a job opening for a couple of strong people to come and help which will be a LOT cheaper than a moving company!! You can specify the hours, pay, and that you need someone with a truck. I have done this many times with our colleges here and have had very good luck with it. The students are hungry right now, and very cooperative and helpful. I paid 2 young men $9 per hour to help me clean out a storage unit and they were very good. I recommend it.
I REALLY hope this works for you so you can be safe again!! I would also recommend NOT telling the BF until you are out of there!! He is unpredictable and under the influence of whatever, and could endanger you and your son. He doesn’t deserve any warning after what he has put you through!!!
                    You go, girl!!!!! πŸ˜€

I REALLY hope that everything goes smoothly! I am so happy for you! πŸ˜€

That sounds wonderful! Your own place, surrounded by animals, affordable rent… I really, really hope you get it.

                    #757616

I agree with what others have said. From what you’ve mentioned to me, definitely do not tell him until you are out of there. He can come home and find you gone. I wouldn’t tell him where you are moving to either for that reason, just to be on the safe side (not that he sounds like he would bother to visit… he seems to busy heading over to his buddy’s place all the time). You don’t know how he might react and the safety and well being of you and your son are more important than him knowing.

I second drgnlvr’s suggestion if you have a nearby college! Even a coffee shop where teens frequent (make sure your boyfriend doesn’t frequent or one of his buddies wouldn’t notice). When I was in college, a few of us theater types worked a few weekends helping out at Glimmerglass Opera (Cooperstown, NY) because they asked our theater department if anyone would be interested in helping haul sets onto/off of trucks for $10 an hour. HECK YEAH!!!! Hard work (plus it was January), but far better pay than work study ever paid in a single day! We were more than willing to freeze our butts off! They fed us pizza and paid us in cash at the end of each day too. πŸ˜€

Great news! πŸ˜€ I hope you do get the apartment. I’m crossing my fingers for you. πŸ˜€
