I’m in agreement with poems. I have no qualms aout buying a repaired piece, especially if it’s one I really want. But to not disclose that information is dishonest.
April 22, 2010 at 11:01 pm #811543A seller should always be honest and describe the item he/she`s selling as accurate as possible! I`ve noticed that there`s been several Windstoneauctions on ebay lately lacking a proper itemdescription. Some sellers even seems to be too lazy, only managing to write one short line along with a bad photo… :negative:

That’s a sure sign of misrepresentation, I think. I bought something once that had a brief description, and it came chipped and I asked about it because the picture didn’t show the side of the break and the seller said well, you didn’t ask about it. WHAT?! lol

If someone sells an items and lists it as ‘mint’ or does not disclose repair work, they are misrepresenting the item. On eBay that’s against the rules, and I hope it wouldn’t happen here… but if it does, please let me know.
Windstone never sells damaged/repaired statues, except rarely in eBay auctions, and Melody always discloses if they are not mint! Even if it is just a paint chip that she herself fixes in a special piece (which still seems pretty mint to me- coming directly from the creator’s hands!).”
I say: Thanks Nam (lol) – See that’s just the thing – if the Creator repairs an item, well – it’s the CREATOR! lol So it must have been created and then broken simply to become repaired……thereby coming to the conclusion of the answered question: did the tree fall in the forest, have you heard? LOL
And, I will have to trudge along and try to find this mysterious before and after section…I know you set up a category or tab asking who does repairs, but wasn’t sure if that’s what you are directing us to. It’s awful nice of Talona to allow us to clutter her posting with this off-topic (sortof) stuff LOL

What a rediculous seller! :negative: That`s the problem with ebay… A lot of different people are selling and it may be difficult to tell who`s trustworthy and who`s not…
