Not only to identify him, but are his ‘wounds’ repairable? I know he’ll never be like new… but I feel like I’m neglecting a pet if I don’t even try! Haha!

OUCH! lol
Oh you can certainly use Kalandra to repair your pet!!! She does awesome work – but the love note? What a JERK to get rid of it LOL Poor Melissa eh?
That’s a coiled dragon, what a cutie – and in WHITE, what were the chances of you finding that at a thrift store?!! You are made of luck, I think.
There are many other talented artists on the forum, but I can only vouch for Kalandra’s work myself. Haven’t borrowed anyone elses talent
April 19, 2010 at 3:05 am #811515I agree, you have a white coiled (generally refered to as the male) He can be repaired, there are several people who can repair him for you. I don’t think it will be that big of a deal. The damage is bad, but not so bad he can not be fixed. He is a retired piece and not as common as some of the others…so if you spend a bit getting him fixed, I think you will still be ahead compared to buying one on ebay.
It is great that you “rescued” him!

LOL! Tell me about it! I wonder if he was thrown and broken during a breakup or something.. haha
April 19, 2010 at 3:09 am #811517I bet Kalandra can fix him like new. She fixed a gold male dragons nose that had been broken off in shipping and she made it look like it never happened. Good luck! He is a beauty and he should be more than able to be fixed up
April 19, 2010 at 5:05 am #811518Yep… he can be fixed! No worries!
April 19, 2010 at 8:34 am #811519Yow, he’s in bad shape. Looks like the relationship didn’t survive as well as he did, though.
April 19, 2010 at 11:59 am #811520I can vouch for Kalandra on repairing the whites.Mine looks like it was never broken.Perfect color match
Every act matters. No matter how small

April 19, 2010 at 4:15 pm #811524Thanks everyone. I was afraid he would be too far gone, but this thread gives me hope for this little guy. Kalandra, I’m about to pm you!
April 19, 2010 at 5:35 pm #811525He can be fixed. Whomever does this, if you want to spend a bit extra to make him look new as can be, can pull a silicon cast from that little scaled portion of a non-damaged coiled dragon and match it up if they don’t want to entirely re-carve or re-sculpt the area.
(silicon caulk that you can get anywhere that sells hardware works well for this sort of small area if you don’t want to buy a bunch of the stuff)Volunteer mod- I'm here to help! Email me for the best response: nambroth at gmail.com
