What are the last two names from, Ski? Abaddon really rumbles off the tongue… 😆
I had dogs named Leviathan and Kathulu when I was a teen. Abaddon means destruction. 🙂 I think Leviathan and Kathulu were both demon names, or something. The guy who had come up with them was kinda out there, but the names were cool…’Cept when you were tring to yell at them. Too long. Ya dont do much yelling at horses though, so it would probably work better 😆
June 25, 2007 at 1:20 pm #592191What about “A Dark Keepsake” or “Keepsake shadow”
Keeper or Shadow for short…
June 25, 2007 at 2:32 pm #592192Really hard to name a horse without seeing a picture.
We got a mustang when I was little. The prisoner’s that broke him called him “dead head” b/c he wasn’t afraid of anything.
We couldn’t really come up with a name, so me being the 7 year old child called him Comet because his blaze looked like a large comet.
Later on, it didn’t realy fit him because he had such a cute looking head, so we ended up just calling him Buddy. 😕

Abaddon works all right for a yell, but Kathulu doesn’t. Those are neat. I need to keep them in mind, even if I do always name my critters after military hardware…

I’ve heard that as a dog’s name more than once. This is fact, though: “Beretta, bei Fuss!”

June 25, 2007 at 8:37 pm #592202My cousins used to have a Black Horse named ‘Colonel’ Who was very gentle and lovable. Need Pics!
June 25, 2007 at 9:41 pm #592203Since he is black how about Storm or Thunder. I had a black cat once that I named Panther but I don’t think that fits a horse very well.
I just had another thought – Pegaus

The owner said we could pick a horse to go with the house! I fell in love with a very gentle black saddlebred gelding…absolutely gorgeous! I need a name for him, but am coming up blank. It’s been my lifelong dream to have a small farm with a horse…Oh, man am I excited!!!
I am so happy that your dream came true!! Ironically, that is exactly my dream!! I hope all goes well with you and your new home and horse! If it hasn’t been mentioned already…I liked the name Ebony. 😀
