Eagle, I’m gonna hijack your thread, sorry! Crimson, the wings and your gowns (here and on other threads) are just wonderful! What would the man wear to be paired with the woman in a gown like this one, say for a wedding?

Do you have a dress like this one? 8) I considered wearing it for my wedding, but since we only married in a courthouse, I thought it’d be too fancy.

Yeppers! I just checked my email, and she expects them to get here in about two or three days! 10 times better than Oct. 12th!! I wasn’t even expecting to have any wings, but then I got to browsing…and all of them were so pretty…..yep. 8)
I was wondering what it was like to do your hair up like Danielle in Ever After? Was it hard? I keep on leaning back towards that picture of you on your website.

Yay for wings for the faire! 🙂

It was a bit tricky to get my hair like that; the piece you see twisted over the top of my head is actually an added hair piece. I bought some wefts of human hair & dyed it to match my own hair, twisted it in with pearls and then pinned it in. My actual hair is in a bun at the nape of my neck where the ends of the hairpiece are hidden as well.

You might be able to catch a glimpes of what I describe in this pic:

Thank you! Well, it really depends on the man! That style of dress is pretty popular so I’ve seen men do various things to match. I’ve seen them wear medieval type clothing. I seen them wear kilts; both full historically accurate scottish type ones and I’ve seen black leather or camo ones. I’ve seen men do a victorian tailcoat type of outfit.

So it really does depend on what the man likes. 🙂 If any of those sound interesting I could go photo hunting.

eaglefeather – no, I don’t have a dress like that, unfortunately:( It’s lovely, though and I’m thinking ahead 4 years when my husband and I renew our vows. I would love to dress up again. We were married in Vegas and went with a goth look…we were married by the Grim Reaper in a graveyard. 😀 It was so much fun!

Crimson – thank you for the info. If while you are browsing, you come across some pictures, I would love to see them. Don’t go out of your way, though…as I said it’s 4 years away. I’ve bookmarked your site. Who knows…maybe you’ll be a wedding planner someday. 😀
