I recently joined the forum (yesterday I believe?) After stumbling on windstone’s again on dev art, completely renewing my pokemon like obession with these dragons.. though I only have one for the time being.
I work from home as a database admin for a litigation support company but the name changes every 6 months or so, so my job title is always something new…but database admin always kind of stuck with me.. 🙂
I’m new to sculpting, though I did used to make little dinosaurs and dragons as a kid with playdoh and air dry clay, it’s definately been a long time in between that’s for sure. My clay of choice for the time being is just regular old sculpey, and I have to use it all before I can get any of the higher grade clays. I’ve currently made 2 dragon pendants, 2 dragon figures, 2 unicorn figures, and various charms for friends (Most of which can been seen on my dev.art page

I also do digital dragons and other random creatures using my tablet and photoshop to color/draw. My anatomy is sometimes off but overall I think they are looking better and better 🙂
I really don’t have many people to talk to since I’m at home all the time, and alot of my “internet friends” have moved on from the places we used to hang out, so I’m really glad to meet all of you here on this forum!
(This is probably one of my favorite digital dragon’s I’ve created)

My windstone isn’t anything fancy it is the Inner Light Dragon Candle Lamp (stone), which my mom found at a candle store that had it on clearance because they were going out of business. I’ve loved it and taken it with me on many many moves, but now I can’t seem to find where I packed it away at. Gah!

August 10, 2012 at 6:52 pm #884526I grew up in Texas, I still go down to visit family once in awhile. I miss it sometimes, but I dont miss the chiggers, blister bugs and fire ants though =D I have a lot family still in the Houston, Meridian and Tyler areas. I hope to go visit again next spring or fall (anytime but summer! lol) So seeing folks mention places like Whitney brings on a twing of nastalgia 🙂
