3 middle ones left. I just couldn’t resist. I’ll have to buy the small one later.
December 11, 2007 at 3:21 pm #644373I think I should pounce too…
December 11, 2007 at 3:33 pm #644374They are neat, but I think I’ll pass for now. I don’t do many candles any more unless they’re jar candles. I had a pillar candle burn a hole in one side and spill a small ocean of wax into the carpet….the orangey wax spot is still mildly visible. π

That is one of the worst things ever because it sticks in the fibers! If you have a way to use or borrow a steam cleaner though, it works wonderful to get the wax out. The steam is hot enough to re-melt it and then you blot it and soak it up with a rag. π
If you don’t have a steam cleaner, I always had good luck putting an absorbent rag down over the spot, then ironing the rag. With luck the iron melts the wax, and the wax will stick to the rag instead. It’s a little trial-and-error though.

December 11, 2007 at 3:48 pm #644377actually…you know what I used to get it out…
basically what Jen said…..but get a brown paper bag from the grocery store….and put the iron on it over the wax…briefly..and keep switching to a new spot on the bag….
it works great….and then after all the wax is absorbed into the bag….clean the carpet with woolite heavy traffic…and it’s pretty much like it never happened….
December 11, 2007 at 5:54 pm #644378I’ve used an iron with paper towels, too. My Mom never found out there had been a waxident on her rug. π

Yup. A lot of the ebay special auctions have some comment like that. I just love them!
Like the Blue glittery Sun Dragon…
Quote:This is a one of a kind test paint Oriental Sun dragon airbrushed in a sparkley blue color. This one isn’t signed and we won’t make anymore exactly like this one because I have a strong personal dislike for the combination of gold, silver and blue together. Maybe someone out there feels the opposite about it!
lol and it still sold for the highest…WOW that was one gorgeous dragon. Signature or not!

Bah. I never said I would try to resist.
I won’t buy one of the two remaining short claws, though. Emerald has one in stock and I want hers. π -
