February 18, 2007 at 4:58 pm #541069Hey guys and thanks for the support! It’s been a long weekend, and Sunday only just started! Friday I was barraged with calls after I got back from the doctor’s office to take the blood test they wouldn’t give me. There was a lot of arguments unfortunately, and some nastiness on the part of the blood taking lab and the office nurse. Long story short somebody did get in touch with my doctor and he called me to arrange an appointment with the blood spceicalist for a Thursday appointment. He told me to go back on the blood thinners in the meantime…unfortunatly this ruins all the blood results I could have gotten for being off the thinners as instructed before, so this whole ordeal may need repeating again in 6 more months.
However, I don’t have the pain and my head feels better…it felt so “pressurized” somehow. At least I feel a little safer. I was about ready to go to the hospital to get the blood test but then reconsidered…what with the new bills that would insue and then speaking with my doctor. I may eventually ask to be sent there for a new CT scan to see what’s in the lungs and if the clots are completely gone in the future (since they may have rebuilt a little bit after this fiasco).
I have been painting away on the sculpts yesterday so I’ll only be a little late with them but they’ll be done over the coming week.
February 18, 2007 at 5:18 pm #541070I am at least glad you are feeling a little better. Im sorry about having to do the tests over again. I know how frustrating dr.s and appointments can be 😕
February 18, 2007 at 5:57 pm #541071Oh, I’m so glad you’re feeling better. I was really worried about you! It stinks that you have all those doctor/lab politics when it comes to your health. It’s more important that you’re okay than it is that somebody gets the say in what happens instead of somebody else. Geez!
Just let me know when the wolf is ready and I’ll send your dragon. No pressure. Whenever you’re done.
February 18, 2007 at 7:03 pm #541072Yay, I am glad you are feeling better. My bf still has trouble with the clot in his leg. And he lost his insurance so he hasn’t been back to the doctor for a check up.
February 18, 2007 at 8:06 pm #541073I hope your boyfriend can get to a doctor soon. It sounds like he really needs to get that looked at.
Water, I’m glad you’re feeling better!

Yeah, I hope so as well. He isn’t going to do us any good if he doesn’t. Thanks. 🙂February 21, 2007 at 3:26 am #541075I wish you all the best. I hope everthing works out well for you
February 21, 2007 at 7:30 am #541076I’m sorry to hear about your medical troubles. It’s awful when different offices don’t get along and cause you more trouble. I’m glad your feeling better and I hope things will start looking up.
