I purchased a few Windstones from a nice lady on ebay, and had to call her to pay for them, so I got to actually talk to her (which I think is cool!) and she said her brother had passed away and was selling some of his stuff.
They arrived just fine-two gargoyles and a spectral. One of the gargoyles was the Wizard Woodlore. I set my new treasures on my shelf-The Wizard between my unicorn and dragon gargoyles, thought nothing of it and went to bed.
The next morning, this 10lb. or 12lb. Wizard statue was pushed to the back of the shelf. I have a big dog and 2 cats, so I thought one of them got curious and moved the statue. I pulled him to the front of the shelf and went about the day. Every time I passed him, he was right where I left him. All was fine, I went to bed again that night, and in the morning, he was pushed to the back of the shelf and turned at an angle ….. o.O weird……
I believe in spirits, and in-animate objects having personalities…I thought maybe he was unhappy between a traditional symbol of goodness (unicorn) and evil (dragon) so I moved him off the shelf and onto a nearby desk. In the morning he hadn’t moved so I put him back on the shelf, at the front. I aligned the front edge of the statue with the front edge of the shelf.
The next morning, of course he was moved. Beginning to doubt my actions, and my pets, I aligned a little cardboard box to the front of the shelf, and aligned the Wizard with the back of the box.
The next morning, he moved again. He was pushed straight back in a perfect line. O.O um….creepy! I also got a very negative and evil vibe when I looked at him that I didn’t get from any of my other Windstones sitting nearby. I got warm, peaceful vibes, even from the mean looking Emperor and Sun Dragon; but the Wizard made me VERY uncomfortable…so much that I tried to avoid walking in front of him.
My mother suggested I sell him, get rid of him, and compared him to a Ouiji board. In one last attempt, I set him on top of an old family Bible, and went to sleep. He hasn’t moved since! 😯 I meant to ask the lady if there was a story behind the Wizard, maybe he was the brother’s favorite piece or something. But soon after sitting him there, I began to get a peaceful vibe from him too-or at least a neutral one!

I Would love an Old Warrior one day.. any Old Warrior!
May 31, 2007 at 8:07 pm #582941Cleansing it wouldn’t be a bad idea. Also, I would be curious to find out the story behind the piece with the seller and where the brother had placed it in his house.
May 31, 2007 at 8:19 pm #582942Wow, that’s very creepy! 😯
May 31, 2007 at 8:35 pm #582943May 31, 2007 at 8:36 pm #582944wow sounds like you got more than you bargained for! PS Water should be natural.. ie stream lake brook etc.
May 31, 2007 at 8:51 pm #582945Very weird.
I’ve had odd things happen for no known reason. I always jokingly blame it on gremlins, but what if I’m right? Scary thought.
Anyway, glad you figured out how to fix the problem. But what a really weird thing.

May 31, 2007 at 8:52 pm #582946ooo Ruff, those clips are creepy too! *looks around suspiciously*
I too thought about setting up my video recorder like the lady at the beginning did…or taking photos of it and see if any orbs appeared 😯May 31, 2007 at 9:27 pm #582947Woa!! spooky………. I wonder if my windstones move in their new home tonight 😕 Hopefully not through the glass.
Ide be really interested to find out the story behind that piece 😀May 31, 2007 at 9:48 pm #582948If you try to cleanse it, besides water, you could also try sage and do a smudging. Just get an abalone shell (I found one at AC Moore actually) or something that you can smudge with it (I found out plastic bowls don’t work – it is now a melted plastic bowl :P). Very interesting. Maybe it was his favorite piece 😯
May 31, 2007 at 10:07 pm #582949Eeeeee that’s freaky O.O I want to watch the video, but I’m waaaaay too much of a wuss. I read some of the comments and they mentioned something about a mirror and girl. I’m already afraid of mirrors and creepy children so alas, I should steer clear lol. I’m already glancing behind me hahaha!
May 31, 2007 at 10:36 pm #582950Wow, that is weird. And I couldn’t watch the whole video.
May 31, 2007 at 11:15 pm #582951well ..windstones are made out of natural stone…so they have life in them even if we cant see it..maybe such things can actually hold spirits?you never know ::shrugs::
