No DST here yet. I think the idea is silly anyway – just invented to get people to work longer and buy more. But I’ll move the clock forward when the time comes. I always keep one clock on nature’s time, though.
March 11, 2007 at 9:22 pm #550702Yeah… I think I set my clock ahead too early. I think we have a whole week or two left before we do it here. π³
March 11, 2007 at 9:23 pm #550703Yup! But most of my calendars are American, so I can’t give you the exact date. I rely on the radio for that, and my laptop does it automatically.
March 11, 2007 at 10:53 pm #550704Hey, whippet and laphon, I didn’t know either! My time was always crazy on the forume so I didn’t pay any attention to it. Learn something new every day!
March 12, 2007 at 1:59 am #550705Grr. Stupid changing time. I wish I lived in AZ for that reason.
March 12, 2007 at 4:11 pm #550706Uhhhggg I hate Spring DST….I don’t feel tired enough at night to go to sleep when I aught….and I’m butt tired in the morning….

Hawaii does not change either and I’d rather live there
Are we supposed to do something in our profiles here for the time changeMarch 12, 2007 at 9:51 pm #550708Heh… I am still blundering around without any idea what time it is. I hope my computer updates this stuff automatically, ’cause if it doesn’t that means it’s nearly 4 already…
Then again, it’s silly to be worried since my clocks are always wrong anyway. Or at least they are when you compare them.

In your profile is a field for timezone. If you want the time on the forum to mimic your timezone, you set it here. The time is based on Greenwich Mean Time. I am in Eastern Daylight Savings Time zone, so I have my timezone field set to GMT- 4 hours. That’s because Greenwich time is 4 hours ahead of me. I’m guessing that California would be GMT-7 hours. Mimi can probably confirm this. The timezone stuff confuses me sometimes. π
