I wish my grandparents were still alive.(I would have offered them) Grandpa was at Pearl Harbor after the bombing and Grandma was one of the nurses on the ship that picked up the survivors of the Death March during WWII. She was an army nurse and they had the first military wedding of the war. We have the newspaper clippings and everything. It was pretty neat. But hearing about Pearl harbor from my grandpa was amazing….takes on a whole new dimension. I hope you get an interview as amazing as listenting to him talk about pearl harbor was for me. Good Luck!

Wow, you guys. You have some good stories.

So. I just finished the rough draft of my profile after doing the interview on Sunday. If it’s all right with him when it’s done, I might post it. Guess who I profiled? Skip, our new writer, who will be working on some promotional stuff for the site. And guess what? He writes PROFILES for a living!

A very interesting guy, too. He has been all around the continental US on a bicycle, and now has a traveler’s hostel in his basement, which he uses to invite other bicycle travelers to stay in while they’re in town.

I would’ve interviewed my mom, but she’s been interviewed plenty of times, and I already know most things about her. That’s Skip’s job.
