Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.For today, I got out of bed & told my puppy that I am working on getting her a sister to play with (After losing her Aunt last month). She responded with lots of drooly kisses and attempts of convincing me that she should be a 10 month old, 105 pound lap dog lol.

The Husbink and I traditionally go out the week before or after Valentine’s Day because 1.I hate swamped restaurants and 2. Depending on the year, a convention I always attend sometimes falls on Valentine’s Day. Last week we had a fancy 6 course meal and went to the opera! It was fabulous. Since we’re saving up for travel (Washington state in August, Florida in May and London next Feb/March) we’re only doing very small gifts. I got him a box of chocolates with a pit bull on it, and a beanie cap. He shaves his head and likes to sleep with one on! I’ll see what he got me tonight!

I’m always alone for one thing and I don’t believe in a designated “holiday” to show someone how much you care about them for another. That should be all year, maybe gifting flowers and such things at random and unexpected intervals to make a relationship more interesting. At least that’s my view. That said, I’m happy for those who choose to celebrate on this day and I mean to pass no judgment on anyone. So, happy VD!
Also, I think there’s a few countries, can’t remember which, that celebrate being single on this day if you don’t have someone special in your life.
