Happy Mothers Day to all the mothers out there! Whether you have the two legged or four legged variety of youngin!
Happy Mother’s Day!
Nothing exciting happened for Mother’s Day for me. (Of course that could have been because I told Hubby not to get me anything/take back anything he had gotten me when we were fighting earlier this week. I’ll admit I regretted saying it later and half hoped he would ignore me, but I wasn’t going to admit that to him.)
On Friday Gavin came home from school carrying a plant for me for Mother’s Day. It looks like it might be a type of Yarrow. I love it.
Here’s what the flowers look like. They are incredibly tiny.
The plant is 14″ from the top of the soil to the top of the flowers.
The leaves make me think of a conifer.

Happy Mother’s Day!! My husband, Kc, couldn’t be home today, so he gave me a card a few days ago. It had a nice note from him, and he promised me a Windstone from Ebay when we could afford it, so I have to wait, but oh well! I am sorry, Pegasi, that he didn’t get you a gift, but Gavin is such a wonderful boy to do that for you!!
My hubby gave me Avatar, beef jerky, some chocolate covered almonds, and some sugar babies. Thats a field Mothers Day for ya!!

It’s okay. I’d already gotten a few things for myself earlier in the week that I’m thinking of as my Mother’s Day presents to myself. Hubby also said he was sorry that he hadn’t taken Gavin out to get me something…claims “he ran out of time”. I think what he really meant was he’d been procrastinating and didn’t want to admit it.
My brother’s remembered my mom (well, two of them… one just sort of did a oh, btw, Happy Mother’s Day, after he told her that he borrowed her back massager without asking and leaving it at some girl’s house 🙄 ). I didn’t get anything for her, but I cleaned the house top to bottom, upstairs and down and took some time off from work and worked from home the last few days to run her back and forth, laundry, dogs, get groceries, garden duty, run errands, keeping family updated, etc. while dad has been in the hospital the last 5 days, so I guess that has been a present in it’s own way. She did get flowers from my one brother though and part of the day was spent visiting dad. He came home today though, so that is good. Her birthday is next month, so we will got out to dinner next month. Dad’s birthday dinner will have to wait (his birthday is Saturday). He’s not allowed to leave home except for doctor’s appointments to keep his arm clean.
