Boyohs and I had a great Halloween-we attended Witches Night Out during Witchfest at a nearby historical village. It was quite a sight to see this crowd dressed in their finest witchy apparel sitting in groups chatting or eating or texting or sharing selfies strolling along the river walk with its covered bridge or browsing the shops or enjoying the music. It seriously felt like a version of Harry Potter’s Diagon Alley. Trying to get pix up but things are being weird… S went as a Marine in full dress blues that we found at an antique shop and finished off at the nearest Army/Navy surplus shop, E went as a Ranger from the Ranger’s Apprentice novels, made his cloak from 8 yards of suede cloth we found on the clearance table (feels like butter and we thought for certain it was put their by mistake) he did most of the sewing and me? Well, I went as the proverbial witch. Sorta suits… Had a blast!
