😮 OK,who sent us the cold weather down here,huh? 😀
I have a young red maple I planted a few years ago is still green with all it’s leaves.I’m going to count the days to see how long it will take to change.I have family in Ark. and their trees look like Jennifer’s pics but without the snow.They get hit real hard with ice like that breaking the trees.This cold moved in overnight here and never left. 🙁 summer’s gone….Every act matters.No matter how small💞

Male Hearth....one day🤞Dream on.A few roofs had some condensation “frosting” on them this morning. I’m enjoying the cooler weather. We’ve turned the air conditioner off and opened the windows up while we are home. House hasn’t gotten above 75 in a while. I’m sleeping better at night (when I can get to sleep). Can’t wait to get the front screen door installed so we can open it up and get a nice cross-breeze going.
Though I’ve got to see about getting Gavin some new long-sleeve shirts (and a new jacket) after payday on Friday. He’s actually outgrown the “Winter” things that were in his drawers from last year.

You are right about that Pegasi.This is the time of year to open up the houses for the great breezes we get before we shut them back up for our winter.Our normal winters are more like what the our friends up north have had last month.

I marvel at your sort. Yesterday on my way to Opa’s I saw a guy in shorts, and it was around 40°F. For me, anything below 75°F is cold.

Come back to Cali…it’s been in the 80s and 90s this week, though I’ve been in bed for most of it….
You have no idea how much I’d love to, Cat. Winter’s barely started and I’m already annoyed with having to wear sweaters and pull on my motorcycle pants every morning. 🙄

I’ve been outside at -35F in a Tshirt before. Not for long. But for the 5 mins or so it was quite refreshing.

It’s raining here like crazy today! No snow yet, we usually get our first snow in late December or January. Though I remember a long time ago we got a record amount of snow in October! Otherwise it’s a ton of ice storms. 😀

I’m thinking we’re going to get hammered this year (don’t shoot me!). I’ll cross my fingers that you get a paid vacation to Hawaii though. 🙂

Actually, they all are, in some form, but I can consider myself crazy about some things too…
