Thanks everyone!
Let’s see…first thing this morning was that my alarm clock didn’t go off, but fortunately the one in my head worked, so I wasn’t late or even rushed. *whew*
Then I check email, etc, and my chair broke, it is a pile of junk anyway and had been threatening for awhile, but why today?
Got to work, and my boss didn’t take the broad hint that for my birthday I didn’t want anything to do with running machines 1 or 2, I ended up running on 2 for 5 hours, blech, hate that machine!
Day was ridiculously long, 11 hours on the clock before I got to go home. About dang time! Stopped by the bank, then a friend’s, chatted with her for a couple hours, it was nice to see her, she was gone all last week due to her father in law’s passing, and I had missed her.
She gave me a present! Its a pretty little glass angel ornament in purple, she’ll look great on the tree next year.
My Mom sent me a really soft faux fur vest in black, goes with everything, I love it!
My Mom in law is getting me a gift certificate for Windstone…yay…more money for my Lap dragon fund!
Then we went out to Costco to get me a new chair, this time an office chair instead of what I had. We also picked up some new down pillows, yay pillows, can never have enough pillows!
Then we went to dinner at my favorite sushi place, nummy.
Now we’ve got the kids to bed and are assembling my new chair, while I sit in the remains of my old chair to write this. LOL! It lists to one side and every time I move it sinks that much further towards the floor, but hey, I’m still off the floor, barely. LOL!
Since I’ve been awake since 3 am this morning, I am not going to make it much further, but overall while the first part of the day wasn’t so great, the rest was not bad at all.
Also my husband says I have something coming from Amanda Barnes, ooohh…unicorn!
