WOW! Thanks Everyone!
This has been a strange day. My daughter did not say anything this morning before she left for work. So there I was having my own small pity party. (She works days I work nights…hopefully soon to be back on days.) So I finally head downstairs for breakfast and there on the hall table where I am sure to see it is a goofy flamingo yard ornament. This has become a running gag between us. Every year she does her best to find an unusual flamingo to add to the collection. So far she has found a pinata, several yard ornaments, some wind chimes, beanie babies, and a feathered puppet. And the list goes on.
And to add to the surprize on the floor beneath the hall table was a box from Purpletabby! The little black and white feathercat arrived and with perfect timing, too. My daughter will love it but she can’t have it. It’s mine! Also in the box was the silver seafoam hippocampus. Wowser!
Ah well. So here I sit at work. At the moment all is quiet with the mechanics. It won’t last long though.
So while it is calm I will take the time to say THANK YOU to you all. It’s like having a mailbox full of Birthday cards.
It’s nice to have friends.
OK, I’m 40 minutes late, but that’s EDT. I’d still be on time if I lived in CDT, MDT, and PDT time zones (which I’ll pretend to right now…) 😛 Happy Birthday!
