Well, now Jet has a tapeworm from cleaning the baby 🙄 I just got him medecine and he’s been pooping runny egg and pasta looking poops all over the house! *gag*

I brought him to the vet when I notice something white that would also be with his droppings. They kept him for part of the day to administer the meds because it had to be an exact dosage. The vet said sometimes they vomit a bit and it’s hard for the owners to figure out just how much to readminister. When I got him home and he did his thing [thankfully outside] it was solid white! I don’t know how it is for cats, but he did a couple of droppings like this and I had to take him in 2 weeks later for them to readminster the meds just to make sure.
But those first droppings :puke: Hopefully you get them all and did the baby have fleas—they eat the fleas and that causes them. I guess the larve from the fleas. Yuck! [Recheck the places where the droppings were–there may just be a big ol’ hole there! Cat’s stuff is powerful!]
Oh! I just found out it wasn’t a tapeworm, it’s roundworms…. I just assumed long and flat, it was a tapeworm. I guess not.
Yea, tapeworms look like rice when they poop ’em out. That’s probably whay they looked that way. It was a bunch of segments. Usually it’s just one worm and you have to get the head or it will just keep growing more and more segments. I was just googling some images (I don’t reccommend it if you’ve eaten recently, blah!) and yup, I got the spagetti worms to they’re round worms. So that means he has a bunch trying to clog up his intestines! DIE WORMS DIE!
He doesn’t go outside and we don’t have mice or anything he could have eaten and caught them from so he’s probably had then since he was a baby and got them from the mother’s milk or something. They’re pretty BIG so they’re old… at least according to what I’m reading.
