Thanks! I’m getting the best birthday present (hopefully) – I’m going to Hawaii with my friend Andrea! We are staying at our friends’ Sue and Pat’s place. Sue was the friend who went cross country with me. And other friends, Suki, Chris and their son kevin went out yesterday. We used to spend a week a summer at the Jersey shore but haven’t vacationed together in years. We decided that with my diagnosis life was too short to miss spending time with friends so we decided to do the trip. Andrea and I are flying out tomorrow except that now they are forecasting snow for NJ! The weather forcasters haven’t been right so far for NJ so I’m hoping we get out. I’m a week out from chemo so if we do fly I’m hoping I sleep for a lot of the flight – I’m still exhausted from the drugs.
I may have access to a computer part of the trip but if not I hope everyone has a great 2 weeks – I’ll be back for St. Patrick’s Day (have chemo that day). Cheers!
