I’m considering selling these handmade wings. The feathers are naturally black, many with green sheen. They were sourced from poultry that naturally shed them and were steam cleaned. Each feather is hand sewn and glued onto a frame that I made from wire, batting, and fabric. They are designed to slide into a corset, and have a collar that hold them upright. I wore them once for a costume party.
I’m asking $400 OBO, including shipping in the US, but I’m not entirely convinced I want to sell these, considering the blood, sweat, and tears I put into them, so I’ll only carefully consider much lower offers.
From one wing maker to another – those wings are magnificent! The amount of time, talent and love that went into that project is staggering to even consider… Stunning, stunning work! *utterly and thoroughly gobsmacked *
