Here is one of those fake pumpkins… I thought that I would try carving one… LOL I won’t be doing it again! It makes a bigger mess than a real one! 😆

Fake pumpkin? What’s the point of that… I love roasted pumpkin seeds… especially that one year my father lit them on fire and had to run outside and dump them in the snow (thank goodness for Canadian winters starting in the middle of October)! 😛

I haven’t carved a pumpkin since then (and that was when I was 8 )… I’d start again, but who’s going to see it from a 4th floor balcony?

Yeah they do make a mess don’t they 😀 I did a few last year and have to do a few this year for other people and we got at least 5 REAL pumpkins out of the garden this year so those will have to be done too.

I love pumpkin carving. I remember when I was little and dad would always grow pumpkins for us and then have us draw what we wanted on a piece of paper and they faithfully carve whatever we drew onto the pumpkin.

foxfeathers… I love carving pumpkin’s and my girls love getting all the gunk out of them! But I think I’ll stick to the real ones… they don’t leave such a mess of dust behind! lol

😆 I was thinking about doing a Puss In Boots pumpkin this year using the silhouette off the happy meal box my son got when the last round of Shrek toys were at McDonalds.

Those are some really cool pumpkins…I have to carve mine on Thursday, the day before Halloween, I don’t think I’ll have time to do it before than… 😀
I don’t think mine will be that good tho… 😕
