I was wondering if the issues with the bubble pox had to do with the wetter/humid weather or if it was the makers of the gypsum that is to blame.
When we were having trouble with bubbles in our potting material, we baked the dry mix in ovens to get out the excess moisture and it worked like a charm. We also put our molds in a vacuum chamber or a bell jar, but I’m not sure if it would be doable with ceramic molds.
Anyhow, those were two thoughts I had while wishing there would be a new Blackfire Kirin under the tree this year 😳 😀

We have had several chemists working on the problem. Nobody can really figure out what is happening!This has to be soooooo frustrating for you! I mean you are calling in experts and everything! It sure would be interesting to find out what the problem was in the end–and if it was so simple that you just want to kick yourself for not seeing it!!!!!! Hmmmmm–have you considered calling in a Shaman! 😆
