Haha-When I tell my husband that I want to buy a certain figurine, the first words out of his mouth is, “how much does it cost?” I think he just doesn’t like the cost factor!
Sounds like my dad, I’ll show him something ( I already bought 😉 ) and I’ll get ” That’s nice..what was the orig price and how much did you pay for it ? ” Depending how far under the orig price also determines how great it is…. like value can be measured in dollars… 🙄 😆

Oooh lucky you! My hubby sometimes struggles with the cost issue. His engineering side fights with the fantasy/scifi side and sometimes wins… 😆

My husband looked over my shoulder when I was viewing the black grand unicorn auction. He saw the price and said, “You are NOT getting that!” 😆 I guess he notices some things…. 😉

For those of you that are new or have not heard the story before I have been collecting since 1988. I have several OLD pieces that I got lucky enough to get first sale, like my Brown and Green Emperors, first sale meaning not e-bay or second hand market in anyway. I paid less tha $200 for each of these Emperors. I fell madly in LOVE with Windstones the second I set my eyes on the first 2 I ever saw in San Francisco in July 1988
WOW it’s hard to believe that next year in July will mark 20 years of collecting for me.
I think I’m close to 80 now. I need to count them again when I get home and add these new treasures to my display casesMost of them including the Brown and Green Emperors are in the original Show your Windstone Collection page 19. I’m one of the computer illeterate ones that does not know how to post pics yet. I will have to get an accurate count when I get home and can have them all in front of me to make sure I do not miss one
