Which is fine by me! I really wanted the barred-wing mother griffin #3, but so did other people! I don’t know if she was one of the ones you referred to as “weird” test paints, but I thought she was utterly gorgeous. 😀 Those shaded browns, that dark mask around her eyes, and that fabulous violet flashing on her wings! The effect of the violet interference against those browns was superb. If you ever decide to experiment in that direction again, I’d be delighted!
