Did the momma griffin get an every day name? Sorry if you posted it somewhere and I missed it. You could always snag griffin names from Mercedes Lackey’s griffin books. Zhaneel and Kechara were two female griffins in the series.
May 25, 2007 at 7:28 pm #578615Congrats. I was watching it, but then forgot about it.

Actually, I did name the mother Kechara! I had forgotten Zhaneel’s name and I have NO idea how to pronounce it.

I’d so go with Nam’s pronunciation guide. I checked the Ask Misty section. Nothing there on any gryphon except a guide on Skandranon, the black gryphon – Skandranon is with short ‘a’s and ‘on’ as in ‘on and off.’
May 25, 2007 at 8:29 pm #578619I asked Larry in person. 🙂 The gryphons are pretty much his babies.

My art: featherdust.comMay 25, 2007 at 9:42 pm #578620I am SO jealous you know them personally – I would love to meet them. The gryphon trilogy is why I collect gryphons! Thanks for the pronounciation – I never knew how to pronounce it.
May 25, 2007 at 9:50 pm #578621I was watching both auctions and saw you nearly get outbid on the last chick. I’m glad you managed to outsnipe whoever it was that tried to get him/her from you. I didn’t think you had enough time left to put in another bid.
May 25, 2007 at 9:54 pm #578622I was hovering over the computer all ready to go if another bid went in! And it did – I was soooo nervous! But it worked out. I had bid on the first one but since I didn’t win I figured I could increase the bid on the second. My CC is whimpering at the moment. 😉

May 27, 2007 at 2:56 am #578627Hi everyone! I’m the person who won the Sun Griffin and his son. 🙂 I actually joined the forum a while ago, but university got really busy right afterwards and I didn’t have much free time. Things are less hectic for me now, so I thought I’d start posting here. 😀
