I was surprised no one mentioned them earlier today. I was pretty much hoping no one would check their emails or do a search on ebay for griffins or windstones. Rats, onto plan B.
Now what was plan B again?

Good luck ddvm, I see you’re winning the crouching chick currently. I hope it stays that way!! π
Edit: And the Sunrise one too!! Just got to hold on for 6.. more… days!
May 19, 2007 at 2:04 am #578589As far as I knew, Plan B was a metal folding chair.
*inside joke :P*
May 19, 2007 at 3:33 am #578590The chicks are pretty, but I really want to see the labradorite babies. π
May 19, 2007 at 9:30 am #578591Awwww… sooo cute!! I DO need a crouching chick… and that one is exceptionally cute. I think I may have to bid DDVM. π
May 19, 2007 at 9:38 am #578592The sitting down one is soooooo fantastic!

I think I’m in the wrong business. I’ll spend a week at a client site and then get complaints when I charge $400-500 for the work, even though it’s supposed to be $75-$125/hr… maybe I need to learn how to paint.
They are cute..

Oog! You may have a bit of a wait. I’ve got at least 6 weeks of painting before I’ll get to those more than likely. π

At least you get to stay home. I have to pack up tools and software of all kinds because I can never get an accurate explination of what is “broken”, so I have to plan for the worst so I’m not driving back.
But here, I’ll compromise. Everyone keep buying Windstones, and get one friend to buy, Windstone will grow and they will end up becoming my single client. I can stay home and focus on them, and everyone wins. π
May 20, 2007 at 6:37 am #578597Hey I can understand that. I used to have an hour commute one way to work if the traffic was good… otherwise it was longer. And the job before this one I didn’t have transport at all so I hoofed it 1.5 miles one way to work and back. 1.5 miles doesn’t seem bad and really it’s not, until you factor in the -10F windchill and snow that we had most of my career working there… π
Though, staying home has its drawbacks too, as you probably know. There is no difference from my work area and my living area, and being cooped up in one room of the house all day for.. mm, 12.. 14 hours is not always enjoyable 7 days a week. I get REALLY sick of being at home and long to get away from the house sometimes. This is unfortunate because home should be a retreat from the rest of the world. Not to mention that often family members don’t realize that working at home is real working and I get interrupted quite often to help with things. I don’t mind but it can be a headache when I’ve got paint drying that shouldn’t be drying…
Sorry for the ramble. I’m stuck at my husband’s office, they’re doing a server migration tonight until 10a Sunday. It’s all clinical and so the process is very redundant and methodical as to insure that no patient info is lost and the processes are not down longer than the hospitals expect. >_>

My art: featherdust.comMay 20, 2007 at 7:23 am #578598AnonymousI hear you. If I’m not at my desk at home, I’m in front of a computer at the cafe, or I’m in front of a server at the data center, although the last one is pretty rare since I bought the new equipment.
So I know where you’re coming from.
