I’ve noticed that, on pegasi or unicorns that are light colored or have white socks, you often paint the hooves grey. And I’ve been wondering why since the more natural (relatively speaking) color should be a yellowish color, or black/grey streaked yellow, which I don’t think I’ve ever seen you use.

Is it just personnal preference or is there a more practical reason?

      Just curious 🙂

Yeah, you are right, I’ve seen yellowish hooves on horses with white feet. I guess I always paint them grey or pinkish because our pony had pinkish grey colored hooves and he was a “white” looking horse, though he was technically an un-spotted appaloosa color, and grey on top of that. So, his feet really weren’t the color a REAL white horse’s feet would be.
