it was fun painting them though lol i think i was thinking cuttle fish when i did the dots Oh that ki-rin is lovely!!

yeah it did, you would be surprised how long the little detail work can take, usually i would space work like that out but i didn’t want to stop just in case my hand decided not to do the delicate work later. i’m still training my hand muscles.
heres so more progress shots. i’m still not sure what i want to do for finishing touches but i’m sure i’ll figure it out.Oh, WOW…I think I am in love!
Love those flashes of iridescence in the neck feathers! And the barring on the primaries too! Red eyes look great with those colors!
