alrighty so this is what i have been slowly working on…after seeing that wolf that arlla painted i had to seriously reconsider how i have been going about with my painting style. so i stared at her wolf for a while figuring out the steps for painting the fur the best i could and looked through the numerous wolf books at home before starting this one. i’m still trying to perfect working from lightest to darkest but i’m pretty happy with what i have so far.

thank you!! i definitely had a quizzical time with this one trying to paint the fur differently to make it look better i still definitely have a long way to go before i paint like you or arlla. 🙄 breaking old painting habits is really hard but i believe i’ll be able to do it with time 😀

I had the same thought 😀 When there’s no eyes, I have a hard time not seeing the empty sockets.

*blink, blink* *stare* *holds up magnifying glass to screen to get better look at wing details and markings* Wow grayfire artz, you have an amazing eye for detail. The markings on your wings and the natural coloration and shade shifts in the fur are simply amazing. I really love your work.
