This is a piece i recently finished that i’m very proud of and would like to put up as an option for commissions. Here is a list of sizes and prices π
Canvas Panel
10×14 $30
12×16 $45
16×20 $100Stretched Canvas
10×14 $50
12×16 $65
16×20 $125I’ll also do prints which if wanted i’ll research the cost π they’ll be much cheaper then canvas π From prints that I have made depending on size they run from $5-20 depending on size and whats wanted.
I’m still experimenting with stile so I’m up to challenges if anyone is interested please pm me. If you have an idea but are not sure just run it by me and i can do a type of mock up and if you don’t like it that’s ok. π
By toshiami at 2011-08-08here are some more examples of what i do
By toshiami at 2011-08-10this style would be more expensive since it takes more paint and time
By toshiami at 2011-08-10August 10, 2011 at 1:12 pm #853184did you mean $300? $30 for a painting on canvas sounds like a fantastically fabulous deal. That painting is very beautiful! I’d love to have it-or a print maybe π

So will you paint whatever a person wants or is it like a free reign pot luck kind of thing?
I had a canvas commission with another forum member but they dropped off the planet and I still wanted my painting. *sniff* It’s something fun and messy, but for $30 (or round about) I’d love a pretty grayfire canvas in my home ^_^
I have space in between some framed art I bought from your sister when I first met her on DA actually <3

January 7, 2012 at 2:49 am #868457January 8, 2012 at 3:35 am #868552Oh, I like that! Did you play around with different mediums to get the textures? Very cool, Grayfire.
January 8, 2012 at 5:05 am #868561Actually I used gesso π it’s an acrylic based what I did was I used enough to cover the canvas and then a bit more and pushed and scraped it around with a painting spatula until I was happy with the texture then I laid the canvas flat near the fire place and let it all dry :D.
January 8, 2012 at 3:14 pm #868578That’s very clever. I didn’t realize that gesso could be used for texture building. I always thought it was mainly to cover canvas and boards before painting more or less as a primer. π You learn something new everyday! Awesome job, I can’t wait to see what you come up with next.
January 8, 2012 at 6:46 pm #868598I’m really hooked on scenery right now π This is a gift for a friend who’s going through a rough time at the moment. I wanted to paint something that it peaceful to look at at π
