With the exception of the GB baby poads, I’ve stayed out of the the GB fray. But with Melody’s description of the next patch being “paint barf” and “magic mushroom” in color I MIGHT have to try to buy a few. We’ll see. I don’t really have a lot of luck catching these kind of things while they’re in stock.
January 13, 2012 at 11:21 pm #869044PT if we find out the date that they are likely to come out and you dont think you’ll be around to stalk the store/your email, I’d be happy to try to get an order in for you if you’d like 🙂

Awe! Thanks hon :). But that’s not necessary. My attitude is if I miss something in the store it wasn’t meant to be. But I appreciate the offer
January 14, 2012 at 12:06 am #869053Is there a rough ETA on these babies so I know when to start scrounging for pennies? 🙂
I am painting them now, and it takes things about a week to work their way from my paint wheel into the store.

Paint barf magic mushroom and candy mountain.
January 14, 2012 at 12:08 am #869056Just so I know how much I need to save – will the price be the same or will it be going up?
I don’t know, but I suspect the price will go up. These take as long to paint as ebay pieces because each one is different!
January 14, 2012 at 12:24 am #869061Never being around for a GB release before, do these stay in store for very long at all? or are they like in and out in an hour type? I might look into one or two if I stand a chance at actually getting them, lol, but I only check up on the store more than once on days I’m really bored, and I still fully missed the BVP OW, lol, ‘n I checked randomly, I thought, quite a lot that day…

Yep!
However, Susie does try to give everyone a heads up in plenty of time to start stalking.
January 14, 2012 at 12:29 am #869064Kaytana – if its anything like they have been in the past, they will be going very, very fast. Within an hour or two, tops. I would suggest hitting the “notify” button on the grab bag baby page so youll get an email when theyre restocked 🙂

More like in and out in 35 minutes, even at one per customer! If you are signed up for store announcements, or have clicked the “Notify when back in stock” button for the GB babies, it certainly helps for the hard-to-get items. 🙂

Awesome, thanks or the heads up on how to go about it guys! 🙂 I’ll be excited if I get one, but if not then I suppose I’ll just have to wait and see, and hone in my abilities and familiarity with the site! lol.
So sorta off subject but along the same lines, does this often happen when certain regular dragons restock? Say if CP comes back in stock soon, or do they hang around a lil longer? – I’m definitely gonna set up notifications on any that I’m interested in 🙂
January 14, 2012 at 2:19 am #869076I know the last batch of CP orientals (babys and adults) were in for several days at least.
So were the fledglings.
None of my other CP pieces came from the store, so I can’t say. I don’t think the emps were in long at all.

Would it be possible to upload the class photo before they go in the store? I know there was a lot of discussion about this, but I would really like to see all or most of them to decide wether I like enough of them (means more than half) to try and get one, especially if they get more expensive.
