I wondered why there hadn’t been anymore sketches. I wish I lived close enough to help.

Couldn’t you just slip them in between two pieces of cardboard and in a cardboard mailing envelope? It might be a bit more to ship them but they should be relatively safe.

This is essentially what I do. The problem is that my mailers are getting more and more pricey ($2.00 each now), and I have to buy the cardboard sheets most of the time (I’ve run out of boxes to recycle!) and then cut both pieces to size, secure the drawing so it won’t rub on the cardboard, pack it, make the label up… etc. It only takes maybe 15 or so minutes each, but when you have dozens of drawings.. yikes!! I can’t afford the time to pack them these days, unless I charge a lot for shipping, which is kinda unfair… who wants to pay $10+ to ship a simple sketch?? I wouldn’t… :/

I really hope you do more too, Nam. I’ve got access to quite a few cardboard pieces. I could cut them for you and mail them to you. 🙂 That way all you’d have to do is slip them into envelopes. Also, you could put the drawings in plastic sleeves, that way you wouldn’t have to worry about them rubbing.

OR, Ive got some comic books that come in plastic sleeves with a cardboard piece on the back for support. Would the sketches be safe enough to mail like that? PM me if you’d like some cardboard pieces. I know I haven’t been around much lately, but I am done moving (for now) and settled enough that Ive got internet time! Whoo hoo! 🙂
