Is there any idea when they might hit the store? This week? Next week? It’s hard for me to watch the store with my herd of kids keeping me busy. Also I know it will be one per person so if I wanted to get one for myself and my daughter would that be possible? She’s started collecting the dragons and has already “borrowed” some of mine lol!

I think John is still going to livestream the second half of the batch. So I don’t think it’s worth watching the store until then 🙂

Unfortunately they don’t give us estimates on when things will be in the store. “Soon” is the best guess, but with Windstone that could be today or three weeks from now! 🙂 If you are signed up for new item announcements, you should get an email when they are ready.

As for cost, I have ABSOLUTELY NO IDEA how much, but I’m saving $200 just to be safe. I’m hoping they are less, but I was off by about $80 on the adult poad guess I made, so clearly I can’t guess well!

Im hoping the price dont go much more over 150.00. The poads had more intricate paint jobs with designs on them.

I will be doing the second part in about half an hour. Hope to see everyone there. 🙂

I would help but I am just to tired to get out of bed today~

Oh that’s true for sure – but dragons are more popular than poads with a wider audience. A lot of folks don’t collect poads at all, but almost all of us collect dragons.

Again, I don’t have any idea, that’s just what I’m planning on personally in hopes any surprises will be pleasant rather than otherwise! 🙂

I think my favorite by far from the live stream was this one:

Second favorite was probably this one:

                     photo bluemask_dragon.png

I also liked quite a few of the darker/naturalish tone ones on the stream. I tend to like natural, metal and/or jewel tones, or deep rich colors that blend into one another.

I wasn’t as much of a fan of the pastel and watermelon variants… though I did really like how they were using the spots of a contrasting color in this series (especially around the eyes and on the wings) as accents.

Gaaahhhh those two are gorgeous!! So much wishing we weren’t still paying off our honeymoon and such. XP

My guess on the pricing because these are small like the baby dragons is that they shouldn’t be much more than those sell for, especially since it doesn’t look like these would have been that much harder to paint than production dragons and they weren’t painted by Melody. They are not nearly as complicated as the grab bag baby unicorns and poads so my guess would be no more than $100 or at least not more than the small grab bags that were around $130. I am hoping closer to $100 personally because I really can’t afford much more than that and would almost rather buy the production baby dragons in colours I like if these are too much more since I would be risking getting a colour scheme I am not fond of in the grab bags.

Looking for rainbow or pink & teal grab bags!

Just wanted to say that, after totaling all the hours put into these grab-bag dragons, we found that they took about three times as long to paint as the small production dragons, and Melody did tweak every one of them herself after Brandi got the basic painting done. They are all different, but all wonderfully painted with great shadings of colors.

Melody always said things with feathers were hard to paint! 🙂 These guys may not have as complex of “designs” as the unis, but they sure do have a lot more nooks and crannies! 🙂

I guess I underestimated. For those who didn’t see yet, the announcement went out and they will be in the store tonight for $175.

Yeah I saw that, and I cried inside. I was hoping that they would be cheaper. I’m still getting one, but I will be using food money to pay for it. 🙂

                                Looking for-
                                red fire young dragon
old animal line frog, wolf, barn owl, tortoise, tiger cub

For once I over-estimated! Hurray! Money back into my budget! (And people say pessimism is a bad trait!)
