YAY, congrats. Do you have pics?

    Congratulations!

While hiding somewhere in my head I'm on the lookout for white oriental dragons! Please let me know if you know of any available. Thank you!

Good! I’m so glad he arrived safely. 😀

He sure did!! I’ll post pics when I get the camera set up tomorrow. I spent the afternoon filling out a golden retriever rescue application…

Is that the golden retrievers I heard about on the news last night? From the puppy mill that got shut down? My hubby and I even talked about that briefly, but we’re not home enough for a dog like that.

I doubt it, the rescue is Sunshine Golden Retriever Rescue in CT. I have also worked with Gulf South Golden Retriever Rescue, they get puppy mill dogs constantly.

It’s really sad that these beautiful creatures get treated SO badly. It’s really disgusting actually. I would love to be an animal control officer, but I would end up hating people.

It’s nice that you’re adopting a doggie. Good luck with that and enjoy your Scratcher!!!

Thanks!! This golden will be my second. We love our Delilah so much we want another one!! Golden Retreivers are like windstones….you can’t have just one!! 😆

Congrats on the scratcher! Aren’t the peacocks beautiful? (prejudiced in favor of peacock scratchers…)

Congrats on the Golden, too. My stepmom has two from a rescue near Denver. They came as a full-grown pair because the man who owned them wasn’t healthy and had to move to a retirement home that didn’t allow pets. We really only needed one (had a dog already) but Les didn’t have the heart to seperate them and they really needed a home. They’re the sweetest breed, just kind of… fur factories. 😆

I’m glad the scratcher reached you safely, and it’s nice of you to take in the puppy.
