Well, now I’m scared. The poad and flap-cat box looks like it’s been run over by a truck and the sun dragon has been opened by customs. I don’t think I’m brave enough to open either.

Thank goodness everything made it. The flap-cat got the worst of it… the box it came in is crushed and the poad box was damaged by the flap-cat. Surprisingly the flap-cat made it with a scuffed tail, and a baddly dented tag, that’s it.
The sun dragon is so beautiful. I’m uploading pictures now. They don’t do the guy any justice at all!
Whew…at least there werent any breaks…Is is postal rough handling or were they poorly packaged as well?
It was all the post office! If it wasn’t for the way Windstone packs then they wouldn’t have made it. 🙂

OMG! @ the boxes! The sun dragon is a beauty! I’m happy they weren’t’ damaged. It’s a shame that some Postal workers are so danged ignorant and careless. 👿
I’m thinking we should take turns. Just about each and every one of us has a postal nightmare story. 😕
Oh, I forgot. The third box was a dragon my friend sent me. I remember seeing the Aura (Air) Dragon by Dragonsite and mentioning to my friend that I liked it. So she bought me one. That’s what else came in today.
The greatest irony though was it was packaged fine, the box was great. The tail on the dragon is broken. I also can’t find the piece to fix it. Oh well, it’s still beautiful, and I still love her. 😆
This is why I always use UPS…they can damage things too…but the UPS guys that are on the route between me and the factory seem to do a good job! Plus Windstone packs exteremely well!!!!
I HATE UPS. Always have, always will. I have my reasons.
This is the first time this has happened. Everything else that has been broken has been packed baddly. This one I can blame on the post. (Except if they had been broken then I don’t think they would have accepted a claim. Canadapost doesn’t insure against breakage. Even if it’s their fault. It’s in the fine print. I don’t know about USPS. Does anyone know?)
Plus with UPS they would have charged me an extra $75 plus tax on top of the $175 customs charge.
