Topic: Goofy forum problems – please read

Hey guys,

I know we have some goofy forum problems right now. Please, rest assured, these were not done ‘on purpose’ and we’re not trying to make life harder! The site underwent an important update last night and unfortunately as a side effect it ate some of our settings on us, so that the forums are misbehaving.

Known issues:

-Replies to topics are posting in reverse-chronological order (newest up top)
-Replies are ‘nested’ again instead of in true chronological order
-Replying to a topic requires that you to click ‘preview’ and then ‘save’ on the second page, which is an extra unnecessary step
-Replies are posting the first few words of your reply as a ‘title’ unless you fill out a specific title on your own

Any other problems? Please post them here so we can fix them.

There seems to be no “messages” option on the “my account” page. The selection sizes on the menu are all goofy too, still usable but the click area is small on some of them. That’s the only weirdness I have noticed so far 🙂

Password issues. I have my password saved to my computer…it wouldn’t let me log in, so I tried to change my password using the one time only login that is sent to my email. I went to change it, and it says that my email is already registered–have I forgotten my password? I click on the link , and it says I cannot access the page. I click away from it, and I notice that I am logged in. So I don’t know if this is a common issue.

Oh! The little “online” “offline” graphics near our names seem to be missing, as does the little “email this person” envelope. These are sort of minor things, though.

I’ll make it 3 with the no messages in my account pages, but sign on is okay for me. Thanks for making the font size larger by the way, old eyes appreciate it a lot!!!

In the PYO galleries and staff galleries there are a bunch of “galleries” with no pictures attached. Not that this actually causes problems but you might want to know =)
