Goodbye Mitzy

I had to say goodbye tonight to my oldest cat, Mitzy. I’ve known this was coming for a while now, but it doesn’t make it any easier. She came into my life when we both needed someone. I’ve never had a cat that was so absolutely mine. She’s been with me for 11 years. I don’t know how old she was, but she’s been failing fast. I know in my heart I did the right thing, but it still feels terrible right now. 😥 Thanks for listening. I know that a bunch of you have been thru this too.

I’m really sorry to hear this. I do know how you feel after losing my female of 16 years. They are very dear to us and understand us, are there for us. I’m sure you did the right thing with her health failling. It’s never easy. Hugs and sympathy.

I’ve been through this with 3 of my dogs. Each one was big part of my life. It never gets any easier. Try to remember all the good times. We have our 4-footed friends for such a short time, but every minute is worth it.

I totally understand how you feel…I have lost 3 dogs in the last year and a half…old age usually..

I also have some sick animals and at leat 5 dogs over the age of 13.

Hugs, You did the right thing, but that never makes it easier! It is like loosing a child or a spouse. Especially an animal you have had for a long time. You never forget them!

But, you can rejoice in the absolute love and compainionship that they shared with you. I know that they have touched my life in a special way and I will always keep them in my heart!

I also believe that ALL Pets go to Heaven 🙂 What good would heaven be if I couldn’t have my pets with me!

I’m so sorry, it’s always a hard decision, but you usually know when it’s time. You can give no better gift than a easy passing. *Hugs*

You did the right thing, you know Mitzy did not suffer, and knowing that will help alot as the days pass. I know that day is coming with my cat Zinc, and I dread it, but I know I will kiss him and let him go, its the only gift I will be able to offer when his health gets that bad. But it won’t be easy, and I know it was hard for you. Hang in there.

Oh copper, I’m so sorry 😥 I think that’s one of the hardest and most loving things to do for our furry children. Like Kyrin said, it’s a gift that you give to them. Hang in there! *HUGS*

Awww baby….I’m so sorry for your loss. I’ve been through it so many times and it never gets any easier. You did the right thing. Try and take comfort in the fact you gave her a good and happy life. I send my deepest sympathies, it’s such a hard thing to do and one of the worst decisions to ever have to make. My heart goes out to you and I will be thinking of Mitzy tonight. I hope you feel better hunny.
