I want to buy a set of Golden airbrush paints but none of the craft stores in my area sell them only the fluid body paint. No I’m not going to thin them down because I suck at doing that. I just want to buy a set of the airbrush ready paint. Does anyone know a good place I could get them from?

I just bought some Golden Brand paint from Amazon.com. I am pretty sure what I bought is air-brush ready. I need to pick up a few things tonight before I can start painting my first dragon though, so I haven’t tested the paint yet. I’ll let you know when I do.

You may need to further thin the Fluid Actylics by Golden, depending on your airbrush. I have one of the nice ones that they use at the Factory, and I have to further thin the Golden Fluid Acrylics with the air brush medium to air brush them.

I know the fluid acrylic is too thick for an airbrush. From what I can tell 1 oz of airbrush ready and 1 oz of fluid acrylic cost about the same. If you do thin down your fluid acrylic what kind of ratio do you use? I’m no good at doing it so maybe if someone tells me how I can manage lol.

Oh! I totally didn’t realize they made airbrush ready paints.

I thin the Fluid acrylics by ‘feel’… no set proportion, because I’m a rebel. I’m also bad at following recipes… 😆

Or these. I know they’re not Golden brand, but would you really beable to tell using an airbrush?
