I just watched ALL four seasons, (lightning, sideways rain, sideways hail, sideways snow) in TEN MINUTES out side my back slider door. Now its sunny but I can still hear thunder…So Good Morning Mother Nature!
Anybody else see any weather like this very often?

It was really windy here all weekend.

Friday – Hot and sunny 21C <-First or second warm day of the year
Saturday – Cloudy and Windy 14C
Sunday – Cloudy and Rain 8C
Today – Snow and Blow 1C <- It's Baaack!Springtime in Alberta
When it’s springtime in Alberta,
And the gentle breezes blow
About seventy miles an hour
And it’s fifty-two below.
You can tell you’re in Alberta
’cause the snow’s up to your butt
And you take a breath of springtime air
And your nose holes both freeze shut.
The weather here is wonderful
So I guess I’ll hang around
I could never leave Alberta
My feet are frozen to the ground!

April 30, 2013 at 5:58 am #896565Which part of Alberta are you in? I’m in Calgary and we’ve barely had any warm days for spring. I thought it was winter again today with the snow! It just occurred to me we are going to be lucky to have 6 months of warm weather this year since it’s been like 6 months of winter!

May 1, 2013 at 3:20 am #896653I’m in Edmonton. We’ve had a pretty cool spring here and a few bouts of snow in April (which I was kinda excepting to happen). The last of the snow in our yard had just melted late last week and what do we get … more snow. Fortunately it melted almost as fast as it came down. Looking out the window today it looks like it should be 20C+ but step outside and you’de almost swear it was February or March. Once the snow stopped it was a beautiful sunny day but cold with a nice sharp wind. The up side to the cold weather is my room has been warmer (I’m in the basement).
May 1, 2013 at 5:57 am #896665We had a snowstorm last week, followed by our warmest weather yet this year (warm for CO summer!). Yesterday and today have been in the 80s Farehnheit, and now tomorrow it’s supposed to be back down to 30 with snow…
Colorado seriously tries to make its inhabitants sick, and is pretty good at it! I feel I’ll never get used to it after spending the first 19 years of my life in California. I’ve been here since 2006 but still seem to be caught by surprise by the weather as much as ever.Formerly had the Batman & Joker avatar!
May 3, 2013 at 3:47 pm #896853New England is like that…We seldom have any season transitions; We seem to go from Winter to Summer, and Summer to Winter. Spring is fleeting, and Autumn is short.
About a week ago, it was Cool, cloudy, damp and blustery, hovering around 40-50 degrees f. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday we were Sunny, had crystal, cloud-free blue skies, and the temp rocketed up to 80 degrees f in some areas. Yesterday, it was 80+ all day, and by evening, the cold front came in and the temps dropped very quickly by 30 degrees within an hours time. Today is a bit cooler, but it is comfortable….Tomorrow…who knows…we could get anything. -
