I’m leaving tomorrow morning for CONvergence, a big science fiction convention in Bloomington, MN. I will be set up in the dealer’s room there, so if anyone is out that direction, you should stop and see me! That means you, Quill and Adaneth. 🙂
It’s at the Sheraton off of Hwy 100 and 494.
If anyone needs me (or needs to start a layaway or something) over the weekend, I’ll be checking my email, but maybe not coming on the forum, so email me instead of PMing me unless it can wait until Monday (or Sunday night).

Sometimes, but not usually this one. The one I usually do in May (missed it this year) is the one I usually get free books at.
Aw, cool. I have been thinking of going to conventions and try to sell stuff. I think it would be fun.
It is so much fun! I would say that you should come to this one, but Utah is a bit of a trip. 🙂 Maybe we should plan something for next year.
Yeah, that would be cool. I haven’t seen that much on the other side of the U.S. It will be my reward.
I’m back! 😀 I had a great weekend. It was fun being dressed up like Boo (from Monsters, Inc.) with a Mike Wyzowsky doll, calling every scary monster at the convention, “Kitty!”
I also did really good with sales and sold almost all of my Topland stuff. I still have all the Knights/Knights on Horses, the Unicorn with the Fairy hugging it, the Winged Isis, and the Fairy with Butterfly statues. Everything else is gone! 😯
I sold a bunch of Windstones too, but mostly candlelamps. I’m going to update the website this afternoon with what’s available. I’ll be placing another order for Topland too because I’ve had some website sales, generated by the convention, for stuff I ran out of at the convention. Wow! I’m a bit overwhelmed right now with how busy I was there and all I have to do now because of it.
This convention will help me get caught up on some bills, and maybe I can buy another Windstone or two! Yay! 😀

I didn’t see you there. 🙁 I was hoping you’d come to the convention and visit me, Adaneth. I still have yet to meet a fellow forum member face to face. To be honest though, I was so busy that I probably couldn’t have talked to you if you did come and see me. I barely got a chance to use the bathroom most of the days, and forget about lunch. It didn’t happen any of the days. And I didn’t eat dinner on Saturday either. I wasn’t hungry though, so it was no big deal. I seem to be making up for it now too. 😀

Do you ever go to the MN Renaissance Festival? (I realize it’s a bit of a drive from St Cloud) That’s become a tradition for me–I love that place! 😀

Yes! I perform there. I’ve been a hobbit for the last four years. This year I’m going to try to go back to being Wanda the Wizard’s Wife (my character previous to being a hobbit). I’m still waiting to see if they’ll let me, or if they still want me to be a hobbit. My husband is The Wizard (from the Riddle Booth).
Come see me there! We won’t be there the first weekend because we are doing a convention instead, and I’m missing another weekend on Sept 22-23 for another convention. But any other weekend! 😀
