If anyone needs to get a hold of me, I will be away from the computer all day, and not back until about midnight my time, Mtn time.
If anyone really needs to talk to me, my cell phone is with me, and some of you have that number.
If not, just drown me in PMs or email: kyrin@kyrinslair.com
Talk to you all later!
Where am I going, Boise for a wedding reception and just general check out all the stores shopping day…cause I have always wanted to do that and have rarely had the time.

May 16, 2008 at 9:43 pm #703441May 17, 2008 at 12:54 am #703442have a GREAT time and find LOTS of Windstones
May 17, 2008 at 6:17 am #703443We weren’t after Windstones.
I did get a soccer ball for my son for his birthday…a water doodle pad thingy for Karli for hers, and I cute silly motorized skunk for my husband, he collects skunks, long story.
Then I got myself a new little black dress…have to admit I look pretty good in it too. Got roommate a gorgous short sleeved dress shirt too.
WE also went to a Kitchen Collection outlet, got a new cheese grater, a strainer for the sink that expands, so I can lay in on the sink edges and pour…very cool, a new cake cooling rack that is big enough for the wedding cake I am doing and new frosting tips for edging.
Then we went to a place that served us the biggest hamburger we have ever seen, we shared it and still took half of it home…not kidding! 1/4 of it was equivalent to a big burger at Red Robin.
Then we hit a Cash & Carry…which is the same as a Smart & Final, got a bunch of goodies, and some much needed special whipped cream frosting for a wedding cake I need to do in 3 weeks.
Then we dressed in our finery and headed over to the reception, had a great time. Talked with a bunch of different people and it was really fun, food was good too, cake was ridiculously sweet, but good.
The groom’s family is from Canada, and they were all there, neat thing is that the groom’s sister has a wife, they married legally in Canada 2 years ago. I really love Canada, they are so with it, marriage is a legal thing, not a religious thing, but try to tell that to American politicans, good luck.
Anyway, it was a very enjoyable day all around. But now I need to win the lottery so I can pay for all the stuff I bought!

May 17, 2008 at 6:34 am #703444Sounds like fun! I know what you mean about that hamburger. There is a pizza place here that served a pulled pork sandwhich and the bun could take up a whole plate. It filled the basket. I ordered the kids size. π
